 The sensory room at Village Learning Achievement Center at Plum Valley was made possible by a grant from the Be An Angel Foundation. The state-of-the-art room is used to help clients relax, center themselves, or become energized, depending on individual needs. A doctor’s note if required to spend time in the sensory room, which features aroma therapy, visual stimulation, auditory stimulation, a vibrating sensory cushion, and interactive activities that are designed to alter the room’s environment.
