Village Learning & Achievement Center Day Habilitation Program at Plum Valley is a place where individuals with disabilities can continue to expand academic and social skills, participate in community service projects, enjoy leisure activities, paint beautiful pieces of ceramics and enjoy spending time with friends.

There are currently 86 individuals enrolled in Village Learning & Achievement Center Day Habilitation Program, which offers services to primarily adults with disabilities during the day, as well as programs for high school-aged individuals after school. In addition, the Transition Program is offered in partnership with Humble ISD, which helps high school students transition into life after graduation, which may include Village Day Program, possible employment and community volunteerism.
Village Learning & Achievement Center devotes a great deal of time and effort into considering the needs of each Villager and tailoring programs and services based on those needs. Daily activities are customized to each individual’s skills, abilities and interests. In addition, behavioral reinforcement programs are designed on a case by case basis because we recognize that a general program, without taking account individual needs, would not be in the best interest of Villagers. Furthermore, Villagers are empowered to select positive behavioral reinforcements based on his/her likes and interests.
